Scott Frost sounds like a man who is ready to get the 2015 behind him -- and he's not even involved in it. The Oregon offensive coordinator has been quizzed plenty by NFL scouts about former Ducks quarterback , the Heisman Trophy winner who is expected to be a first-round pick. And according to Frost, the questions about Mariota haven't all been the sharpest. "Some of them were great questions and some of them were some of the dumbest questions I've ever heard," Frost said, . "I think it's ridiculous Josh Harrison Jersey to think Marcus is too nice to play football. If that was the case, he wouldn't have won so many games around here." Last October, if Mariota had enough of an edge to his personality to be a succe sful NFL quarterback. The comment apparently got back to Frost, perhaps more than once. "Like if you punched him in the stomach, he might apologize to you," the scout . "I just don't know if he's that alpha male that you're looking for. The kid's kind of a fly on the wall kind of guy. Physically, he's really talented, but it's going to take a little time." Concerns about whether Mariota can make a smooth transition to a pro-style offense have been much more prevalent, but Frost said he is fully confident his former quarterback can make those adjustments, as well. Frost said his a sistance in helping NFL teams evaluate Mariota has begun to subside with the draft just two weeks away. And by all indications, he's thankful for it. *Follow Chase Goodbread on Twitter * . Kyle Tyler Jersey
