If the Pats or Rams wanted him before then, they'd likely have to deal an even bigger package to potentially offset the money impact on the Eagles. They have different levels of need for Brown. The Patriots signed Romeo Doubs this week, and he could be their WR1, but he may be better suited to being a second receiver alongside a star like Brown. The Rams still have Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, but if they could add Brown to that mix, it'd be super dangerous for opposing defenses.
